Madhu Kumari started her schooling with Apna School. In 2019, she cleared her class 10th exams from the govt aided Shaheed Bhagat Singh School in Greater Noida.

She secured 75% marks. On the basis of her marks and her financial background, the NGO Udayan Care selected her for scholarship under their Shalini Fellowship programme.

Daughter of a daily wager, she secured 85.2% in her class 12th board exams in 2020. Despite the hardships faced by her and her parents, she completed her schooling with utmost sincerity, dedication and discipline.

Besides Vikas Vishranti, Warriors for Empowerment provided her partial financial support to pursue her education.
